Friday: Cake to celebrate leaving the department. It was overly sweet, but much better than just plain old getting the boot.
Met K for drinks at the wine bar.
Waited 2 hours for K's friends to show up. You can drink a lot of wine while waiting for 2 hours.
Had more wine once K's friends actually showed up.
Left the wine bar and had more drinks at Equinox. Going to a spinning restaurant may not be the best idea when you already had quite few drinks.
Took a cab home.
Managed to lose my dry cleaning somewhere between leaving the office and getting home.
Saturday: Got up early for my Italian class. Come si dice "hangover"?
Met D for lunch, and then we went to Bliss Spa.
Had a facial at Bliss. The spa treatment was great, but the lounge area was far too small. Still hurting from the night before and had to pass on the wine.
Hung out at my apt.
Went out to dinner at Town Hall. I had the roasted veal meatballs with green peppercorn sauce, steak frites and butterscotch pot de crème. Most of the meal was taken home.
Sunday: Picnic in G's backyard, somewhere deep in the forests of Redwood City. Lots of delicious food served with plenty of Russian sensibility.

Played with chickens.
Then headed up to San Carlos for Thai cooking lessons at P's house.
Learned how to make Fried Pork, Noodle Salad and Green Curry with Chicken. Yum!
Went home, ate some tums and went to sleep.
